A Midwestener at heart, Dr. Hurley was born and raised in the northeastern Wisconsin peninsula known as Door County. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI for both her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, graduating Summa Cum Laude with both. After graduating, Dr. Hurley moved to Maryland and quickly fell in love with Baltimore City and knew that she was here to stay. Dr. Hurley started Be More Dental in 2021 fulfilling her dream to practice high-level patient-centered dentistry in her own community with her office serving as a true “dental home” for her patients.
Clinical excellence and the ability to perform advanced dentistry at a high level have been pillars in Dr. Hurley’s daily practice. She believes in providing her patients with the most current and top-notch clinical care across all modalities of dentistry, thus she has been committed to continued learning through some of dentistry’s most esteemed institutes in dedication to providing her patients with the highest quality care available. Dr. Hurley has pursued hundreds of hours of advanced continuing education across all facets of general dentistry, with an extensive focus on cutting-edge, advanced, and safe practices of dental surgery and implant dentistry which she has found to be her true passion along her journey.
Dr. Hurley has completed over 700 hours of advanced education in implant dentistry and oral surgery alone through some of the most distinguished training institutes in the country and world. She has placed hundreds of dental implants and has helped her patients restore their dentition by replacing single missing teeth, segments of teeth, and full-mouth smile-reconstructions with dental implants. She has been trained in both traditional techniques and also in some of the most advanced-techniques that exist in the industry so that she may serve the greatest population of patients, even those who may have been told that they are not a candidate for implants elsewhere.
Full-mouth smile reconstructions are Dr. Hurley’s passion as her training in implant dentistry allows her to offer her patients confident, healthy, and realistic smiles that they never thought were possible. Dr. Hurley is currently working through the rigorous credentialing process of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and has achieved the high honor of Associate Fellow with the academy. She is also diligently working toward becoming a diplomate with the American Board of Oral Implantologists. On top of her implant specific qualifications, Dr. Hurley has achieved her Fellowship through the American Academy of General Dentistry, a prestigious status that is only achieved by 6% of general dentists.

Dr. Wears was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania and moved to Baltimore to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology at Loyola University Maryland where she fell in love with the city. She continued her education in Omaha, Nebraska to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Creighton University School of Dentistry. During her time at Creighton Dr. Wears was a member of the American Association of Women Dentists, the Special Care Dental Society, and the Healthy Smiles Elementary School Dental program. She found joy in working with other health care providers performing dental screenings in local schools throughout the community and wishes to do the same in Baltimore. She is passionate about giving back to the community and is committed to provide dental care to those in need.
Dr. Wears has continued her dental education in orthodontic clear aligner therapy and dental solutions for obstructive sleep apnea. Dr. Wears has completed numerous hours of continued education in oral airway therapy for sleep apnea including a Dental Sleep Medicine Mini- Residency. Sleep related breathing disturbances are linked to several systemic diseases and conditions and can greatly impact our overall health. Signs of possible disturbances are rapidly identified during routine dental examinations and are used to establish next steps for treatment. Dr. Wears is passionate about developing relationships with patients to create a comfortable environment for conversation in efforts to guide patients on their journey to better sleep and better health.

Stacie is a proud Baltimore native and graduate of Western High School. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Healthcare Information Systems from the University of Phoenix, along with an MBA. Beyond her professional dedication, she treasures fostering personal connections with patients and eagerly anticipates her role as a future grandmother. Outside of work, Stacie finds fulfillment in her 26-year marriage and the joy of raising two adult children.
Courtney, our Receptionist, is the energetic and empathetic voice you’ll encounter on the phone and the welcoming face upon arrival. With a decade of experience in dentistry, including four years at our practice, Courtney excels in communication and bridging connections between front and back offices. A graduate of Western High School, she attributes her strong social skills to her on-the-job experience. Courtney’s passion lies in making people smile, whether it’s her patients or colleagues, and in her free time, she enjoys family activities and indulges her love for drawing and painting.
Amanda, our Treatment Plan Coordinator, brings over a decade of dental administration experience to her role. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Stevenson University, she’s adept at understanding patient needs. After exploring real estate from 2020 to 2024, Amanda rejoined our team in 2024, eager to merge her transactional proficiency with her dental expertise. She’s committed to helping patients comprehend treatment plans and financing options, leveraging her unique skill set to make dental care accessible. Outside of work, Amanda is a devoted mother of three, finding joy in supporting her children’s endeavors and serving as a cheer mom and coach.
Noel, our Clinical Manager and Certified Dental Assistant, brings three years of dental experience, with two dedicated to our office. Passionate about restoring smiles and boosting patient confidence, she thrives in our collaborative team environment. Beyond dentistry, Noel cherishes time with loved ones, cooking, reading, and exploring new destinations.
Katherine, one of our Certified Dental Assistants, brings nearly 2 years of dental experience, with a year dedicated to our team. With a passion for education, she aspires to advance her career beyond her current role, aiming to become a dentist or hygienist. Katherine finds fulfillment in helping patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits, especially those who struggle with anxiety. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her dad and friends, indulging her love for travel. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Katherine serves as a vital resource in ensuring our Spanish-speaking patients feel welcome and understood in our office.
Keantee, one of our Certified Dental Assistants, brings 2 years of dental expertise, with a year spent at our practice. Renowned for her calming presence and clinical skill, she ensures smooth and efficient appointments. Keantee specializes in sleep dentistry, collaborating with Dr. Wears as our sleep coordinator to fabricate oral sleep appliances for disordered breathing and sleep apnea treatment.
Chris, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, brings over 35 years of dental experience, with more than 20 years dedicated to our practice. After completing her dental assisting certificate at Essex Community College in 1986, Chris transitioned to dental hygiene, graduating from Baltimore City Community College in 2003. Passionate about patient care, she enjoys engaging in conversations and educating patients about their oral health. Amazed by the evolution of dental technology, Chris appreciates modern advancements like digital x-rays and 3D scanners that enhance the patient experience. Outside of work, she cherishes time with her family, indulging in outdoor activities, experimenting with new recipes, and occasionally tackling a new cross-stitch project.
Aletitia, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, brings her expertise since 2017, joining our team in 2023. With an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Community College of Baltimore County, she’s also licensed in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration. Aletitia excels in networking and patient connection, values working in our innovative practice, and empowers patients to advocate for their oral health. Outside the office, she enjoys binge-watching TV shows, traveling to Florida, and tackling building and renovating projects. Aletitia is happily married and a proud dog mom.
Shay, one of our Registered Dental Hygienists, extends her caring touch to patients scheduled for Friday appointments. Graduating from Fortis Institute as a certified dental assistant at 18, Shay later pursued her Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene from Baltimore City Community College. Since becoming a registered dental hygienist in 2018, Shay passionately educates patients about oral health, particularly emphasizing the dangers of periodontal disease. Renowned for her ability to create a comfortable environment, she strives to make dental visits positive experiences, especially for nervous patients. Outside of work, Shay cherishes time with her family, enjoying fun activities together.
